This one-act play is based on a true story. A man from Mainland China had set fire, an officer of Hong Kong Immigration Department was died in the fire. After that he has successfully applied for a permanent residency in Hong Kong.
The officer who was appointed to proceed his residency application, was a good friend of that victim. How could she cope with such an application under the tension between her hatred and anger towards the murderer, and complying by the law and discipline that a civil servant should do?
This is a mime show with delicate body movements. And using live recording to project some detail that you can’t see in normal theatre. By showing the struggle of discipline as a civil servant, to discuss the quality of society today.
