In this summer, the Master of Arts in Curating and Art History (MACAH) is pleased to present a tripartite exhibition at L0 Gallery, Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC) showcasing MA students’ curatorial research on Hong Kong’s urbanscape. MACAH cordially invites press and public to visit this exhibition series, which consists of three exhibitions: Unfold City, Beyond Fonts Beyond Signboards and C-Lab: Laboratory for Cultural hybridization, curated by three teams of MA students comprising 14 students.
Conducted by the Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries (DACI) at Lingnan University since 2021, MACAH is the first interdisciplinary MA programme in Hong Kong that aims to cultivate arts curation expertise in a global context by incorporating two distinct subjects: Curating and Art History. This exhibition series serves as the capstone project for 14 MA students who have been grouped into three teams. Each team will present an exhibition with a distinct topic about Hong Kong urbanscape, ranging from artists’ expression to street-level visual culture.
